Dear FAMILY TRICK OR TREAT Sponsors and Volunteers

Thank you for the fantastic community support for the Family Trick or Treat Night!  It was a “spook-tastic” time cerebrating the holiday and the history of Portage, together!
A total of forty-one volunteers served, and all were so warm and helpful. I want to thank our Police Volunteers along with Portage Officer AJ Braunner.  Special thanks to the Business Improvement District of Portage, Richard Lynn, Electric1, and ServiceMaster for their generous support.  This event raised $450 for the Skate Park.  Our sponsors are:  Hairworks, Hope for Books, Portage Christmas Show, Don Rick Insurance, Grean Carpet Care, Realty Executives, Portage United Methodist Church, Odd Fellows, Mary Kay, Check Advance, Karate America, Family Video, Kerri Campbell Realty, & Portage Rotary Club.
Four hundred eighteen people toured through the Family Trick or Treat in three and half hours.  It’s our goal to bring fresh life to downtown Portage in a way that promotes it’s history and produces strong community values.  The building at 117 East Cook St. has been abandoned for approximately 10 years.  But on this night, it was filled with laughter and wonder.  We see a great future in Portage, Wisconsin.
Sincerely,
The Portage Family Skate Park
