    The National Night Out event on August 6th at Coll The National Night Out event on August 6th at Collipp Worden Park was an incredible success, bringing together our community in a night filled with fun, engagement, and valuable resources. We are thrilled to share a recap of the event and extend our heartfelt thanks to all participants who made this evening unforgettable. A huge shoutout to all the organizations and volunteers who set up booths and provided activities, information, and services to our community. @portagepolicedepartment A special highlight of the evening was the Portage Family Skate Park Project team. They were enthusiastic about sharing skatepark respect information and details on the Portage Skatepark's current status and exciting future plans. It was fantastic to catch up with the mayor and see the community's excitement, especially during the giveaway of a signed Tony Hawk skateboard, which was a major draw for attendees. Winners photo will come at a later date. The Portage Family Skate Park Project team distributed over 3,000 informational packets on skatepark respect, which included stickers and other fun items. We are incredibly grateful to Grindline Skateparks for their continued support and for spreading good vibes throughout the event. A big thanks also goes to Tony Hawk and the Skatepark Project for their contributions and for helping make this event a memorable one.Thank you to everyone who participated and attended National Night Out 2024. Your presence and support are what make our community events so special. Together, we continue to build a stronger, more connected community.

    🌟 Today's "Love Our Neighbors" Community Cookou 🌟 Today's "Love Our Neighbors" Community Cookout was nothing short of phenomenal! The Portage community came together like never before, showcasing the spirit of unity and love. 🌟Highlights: New Friendships & Reunions: From meeting new faces to reminiscing with old friends, today was all about community, forgiveness, and love. Skateboarders Galore: Enthusiasts from Arizona, Texas, Colorado, and across Wisconsin joined us, making it a true celebration of skate culture. Green Bay Action Sports Organization: Huge thanks to Dakota and crew for an amazing demo and safe, fun lessons for the kids. If you're in or around Green Bay, their program is top-notch! Community Support: Big shoutout to Bethlehem Lutheran Church for partnering with us and providing delicious food. Our local police, business owners, and advocates also showed up in full force. Skatepark Respect: The camaraderie between skaters and scooter riders was incredible, showcasing true skate park respect. Special Thanks To: Portage Police Department - Wisconsin Chief of Police & Officers: Your support was invaluable and highlighted the professionalism of our skating community. From scooters to skateboards, everyone had a blast, young and old alike. It was fantastic to see so many first-timers and seasoned skaters come together to celebrate.
