Make an Intelligent and Informed Decision

Dear Portage Area Businesses and Residents,

Why should you support The Portage Family Skate Park Project?  This is a question any good and successful business person asks themselves before they choose to support a project.  It’s a question we’ve asked ourselves as a committee before we accepted the invitation to be on one.  Our answers are as varied as our personalities and backgrounds are.  And our reasons may not be the same as yours.

That’s why we are inviting you to come to a Community Informational Meeting at the Portage Public Library on November 18th so that you can make an intelligent, informed decision about whether or not you will or will not support The Portage Family Skate Park Project committee this year or next.

What we can tell you is that if you come to the meeting you will have an opportunity to ask questions that are important to you.  You will have an opportunity to see a professional presentation regarding our Portage Family Skate Park Project in a family friendly environment.  You are invited to bring your own family, friends or employees with you.

We have pertinent, timely and up to date information to share with you.  What we can tell you at this point is that all studies show that having a Skate Park in your community will have a positive economic impact and it also has great potential to increase the health and well-being of our children and families.

When:  Monday, November 18th

Where:  The Portage Public Library, 253 W. Edgewater Street, Portage, WI  – Bidwell Room

Time:  6:00 – 8:00 pm

Refreshments will be served.

We look forward to seeing you there!
