Over a couple of weeks ago the pfsp committee started looking for a grill and the amount of calls, email and texts that came in from people from all over was OUTSTANDING! So much Portage Pride was shown over the last couple weeks that it brought President Kyle Little to the door step of Mike Davis. Mike first contacted Kyle by facebook on Febuary 22nd and from that point forward explained he was going into surgery but wanted to donate his grill because it was going to a good cause and well couldn’t serve a use for him anymore.

Over the course of time till 3/1/15 Kyle kept in contact with Mike to see how he was doing and wishing him a fast recovery from knee replacement and admired what he was willing to give to the project despite being in pain. His heart is BIG and not only did he donate the grill but Mike will be receiving in the near future a faceplate that will be attached to the grill to honor his donation. So make sure when you see Mike you thank him or take a look at the grill at our many brat hut events we will have and smile knowing the good deed he has done for the PFSP. Special thanks to Tom Little, Jim Blankenheim, Elliott Labelle and son for helping transport the grill.
