Gratitude shown!
On Monday, January 9th Portage Family Skate Park held a very successful share night at Culver’s. Despite the tumultuous weather the warmth of support was more than felt as many new faces came out to lend a helping hand in reaching our expansion goal. Patrons of various ages purchased t-shirts, wristbands, and Culver’s calendars in support of completion to phase 2 of the Skate Park.
With Kyle himself along with Andrew manning the display table, they were front and center to shake the hands of quite a few smiling faces; including one enthusiastically generous woman whom stayed to inquire about our fundraisers and activities in the coming months. Even the Portage Fire Chief stopped by to chat, as well as representatives of Divine Savior Healthcare.
Volunteers Josh and Brian (whom also happens to be the Assistant Manager at Culver’s) covered the outer perimeters by greeting and talking to the customers dining in, and ensuring that the many hungry folks in the drive thru received informational pamphlets on the possible ways to show their support as well.
The Restaurant itself has a community driven reputation that held up thanks to the wonderful employees, and special thanks to the mangers and owners for making this event possible. Gratitude is of course extended to everyone who came out and made our night, and everyone volunteering behind the scenes to ensure everything came together without a hitch. Thank you and hope to see you all at our next event!
