Art auction to benefit skatepark was a success!
Kyle Little with the Portage Family Skate Park Project hosted a livestream the other day, to help support Phase 3 of the skatepark and to inspire others to own skate art in the process!
The Drury Gallery at Portage Center for the Arts, 301 E. Cook St., hosted the Portage Family Skatepark Exhibit & Auction, in-person from 1-5 p.m. Wednesday-Friday through August. Facial coverings and capacity limits applied.
All artwork donated by the artists to support Phase III of the park. Bidding took place via an online platform at portagecenterforthearts.com, with a livestream auction from 1-4 p.m that also took place at the end of the event month.
Thank you to everyone that made this event a success. Raising more than $700 and thanks to the June and Edward charitable trust it doubles. Special thanks to the Portage Center for the Arts, Volunteers, business owners, and of course the artists! Without all of you the PFSP wouldn’t be possible.
