Taste of Portage PFSP Style 8/24/13
The Taste of Portage had a twist on it this year. The Portage Family Skate Park Project brought its A game. We had special guest ,Brandon Hanson, Team rider for the PFSP of Portage & Elements board shop of Wisconsin Dells. His demo was amazing! We also had support of Brook Fandrich a local 5th grader who hand crafted all her bracelets, earrings, and necklaces with all the proceeds to benefit the skate park. She didn’t disappoint. The PFSP also gave away more then 20 safety helmets to those who couldn’t afford them and wanted to stay safe while skating. This event and the bake sale has put us in arms reach of the challenge grant issued by the Tony Hawk Foundation to the PFSP.
