Concert at Club Liquid
All the bands were really awesome! Left of Reason did a great job organizing the bands and Jerry Dale Harris, Skizzwhores, and Sexy Ester rolled with the flow and all made a powerful appearance! There was a decent turnout, many from out of town. Everyone was excited about the skate park project; Left of Reason’s singer (Matt) told of trying to raise money for a skate park in his home town and said the project was close to his heart. Jake (owner-Club Liquid) was a very gracious host, staff was great to work with and we look forward to working with everyone in the future.

Sunday Funday was a uniquely successful and special event for the Portage Family Skate Park Project. This was the first ever benefit concert for the project, and the proceeds collected matched or exceeded that of some of our past events. What made this event truly unique was the caliber of the Bands who participated, and the amount of enthusiasm they presented on stage to selflessly raise funds for the Portage Family Skate Park.
A big heartfelt thank you from the PFSP Committee goes out to all the Artists, band members, roadies, volunteers, and employees at Liquid.

Wow what a day! I was asked to help at the benefit concert. At first I wasn’t sure because I didn’t know any of the bands and at my age I thought the music wasn’t my idea of music. But boy was I wrong. I had a great time, each band got better and better. I loved watching each person enjoy the music and we even had a couple who got into the music and danced. I hope the Portage Skate Park has another concert, because I will be there to help.
